Our Humble Beginning
Pacer Tire And Auto Repair began as a small operation in 2012 with just two bays and a dream. Founder James Patterson, a master mechanic with 15 years of experience at dealerships across the Gulf Coast, wanted to create something different.
He saw too many customers getting taken advantage of by shops that prioritized profits over people. At Pacer, we decided to flip that model on its head. We treat every customer like family, and every car like it's our own.
Today, we've grown to a 4-bay facility with a team of 3 certified technicians. But our values? Those have stayed exactly the same. We're still the shop where the owner steps out to shake your hand and explain things in terms you actually understand.

Owner & Master Technician
25+ years of experience. ASE Master Technician. Specializes in brake systems and engine diagnostics. James believes every customer deserves to understand what they're paying for.
Miguel Rodriguez
Senior Technician
12 years experience. ASE L1 Advanced Level Specialist. Our tire and suspension expert. Miguel grew up working on cars with his father and brings that passion to every job.
Taylor Chen
Certified Technician
5 years experience. Associate degree in Automotive Technology from MGCCC. Our go-to for electrical systems and computer diagnostics. Speaks Mandarin and English.
